The integrity of the complete pipeline can only be assured when the field joint (or girth weld) areas are correctly blast cleaned, pre-heated and coatings applied meeting standards as DNV-RP-F102.
Bauhuis has to date designed & manufactured several automated & mechanical types of hydraulic turbine, air and vacuum blast cleaning & coating application (FBE & CMPP) systems for girth weld surface preparation and coating suiting either horizontal, vertical and angled (J-lay) positioning for lay barges and for on-shore use.
Additional handling equipment for moving/ positioning of the equipment are also within our scope of supply.
